ABOUT FECG
Education&Culture
Foundation for Education and Culture - Gedera provides educational and cultural services. Although it originated in Gedera, in 1999 by local citizens, it aids other parts of Israel, should the need exist.
In light of the situation in Israel, emergency funding will be our priority.
Nonprofit
This charity has acted as a catalysis for the creative to help enrich the lives of those it serves. It is strictly nonprofit and does not take a percentage of its income to maintain its activity. It is recognized by the US and Israel.
Ecological Awareness
Every year, the organization does different things depending on the needs and the projects that evolve. It is designed to give to those who give to the community. There has been much emphasis in the past on ecological awareness and sustainability.
Education
FECG helps provide:
School Equipment: FECG collaborates with schools to provide essential equipment like computers, books, and school supplies.
Academic Help: Offers academic assistance and involves after-school tutoring programs, mentoring, or scholarships.
Playground Equipment: Installed or upgraded playground equipment in.
Theater Equipment: Supports theater equipment and enables schools to foster creativity and artistic expression.
Individual Aid: FECG provides glasses, clothes, and food to those in need.
Food Assistance: Partner with local food banks to help combat hunger in the community.
Youth Groups
FECG contributes to: camps for the underprivileged and youth group activities.
For example:
The Hands Across Waters (HAW)
This program introduces water problems that may be resolved by multidisciplinary approaches and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math)
education. The program was developed and is run by Hi-Teach in association with the Water Authority, Water Companies, Academia (Technion), Ministries of Education and Economy, and Rotary. It utilizes advanced modeling tools and incorporates Lego and modern scientific instrumentation, i.e., SES Neulog tools.
Cultural activities
It contributes to museum, music and cultural activities, tree planting and more.
For example: supplying a large amount of musical instruments to Gedera's youth center and creating better facilities for musical activities.
